Upon arrival : Upon Arrival at Kempegowda International Airport or Bengaluru Railway Station, our Bayard Vacations representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Standard check-in is at 12:00 PM. Freshen up and proceed for an afternoon of city sightseeing.
Arrival at Hotel: Complete the check-in formalities, freshen up, and relax before beginning your exploration of Karnataka's vibrant capital city.
Bengaluru Sightseeing:
Lal Bagh Botanical Garden (Approx. 1–1.5 hrs) : One of India's finest botanical gardens, founded by Hyder Ali in 1760 and expanded by Tipu Sultan. Spanning 240 acres, it houses over 1,000 species of plants, a Victorian-era glasshouse modelled after London's Crystal Palace, and a 3,000-million-year-old rock known as the Peninsular Gneiss. The flower shows held twice a year (January and August) are nationally celebrated events. A gentle and beautiful introduction to Bengaluru.
Cubbon Park (Approx. 45 min) : Covering 300 acres in the heart of the city, Cubbon Park is Bengaluru's most beloved green lung. Its tree-lined avenues, heritage bandstand, statues, and peaceful walking paths make it an ideal spot for a refreshing stroll after the journey.
Vidhana Soudha (Approx. 20 min — Exterior View / Photo Stop) : Karnataka's seat of legislature and one of India's most magnificent government buildings. Built in 1956 in a grand neo-Dravidian style with granite, this illuminated structure is especially spectacular on Sunday evenings and national holidays.
Vishveshwariah Industrial & Technological Museum (Approx. 1 hr) : A hands-on science and technology museum dedicated to Sir M. Visvesvaraya, the legendary engineer who shaped modern Karnataka. With six floors of interactive exhibits covering space, aviation, engineering, and electricity, it is engaging for all ages.
Bangalore Palace (Approx. 45 min, entry fee applicable) : Built in 1887 in the Tudor-Gothic style, Bangalore Palace is the royal residence of the Wadiyar dynasty. Elaborate wood carvings, turrets, and sprawling grounds transport visitors into the opulent world of Karnataka's royal heritage. Paintings and royal artefacts are on display inside.
ISKCON Temple, Rajajinagar (Approx. 45 min) : One of the largest ISKCON temples in the world, perched on a hilltop in Rajajinagar and dedicated to Lord Krishna. Its modern architecture fused with traditional temple design, evening aarti, and the vegetarian restaurant on-site make it a serene and spiritually uplifting visit.
Later: Return to your pre-booked hotel and spend the evening at leisure. You may relax at the property or explore the nearby local markets and cafés at your own pace.
Accommodation: Overnight stay in Bengaluru.
📌 Client Note: Hotel check-in time is 12:00 PM. Guests arriving early on morning flights are welcome to store luggage at the hotel and begin city exploration before the room is ready.
