Day01
Upon Arrival : Upon arrival at Kempegowda International Airport or Bengaluru Railway Station, our Bayard Vacations representative will greet you and assist with your transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Standard check-in is at 12:00 PM Freshen up and proceed for an afternoon of city sightseeing.
Arrival & Hotel Check-in : Upon your arrival in Mysore, check in to your pre-booked hotel and relax for a while before beginning your royal sightseeing tour.
On Arrival Sightseeing :
Mysore Palace (Amba Vilas Palace) (Approx. 1.5–2 hrs, entry fee applicable) : One of India's most visited landmarks and the jewel of Mysore. The present Indo-Saracenic structure, rebuilt between 1897 and 1912 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV, glitters with stained glass ceilings, carved rosewood doors, ceremonial halls, and the famous Durbar Hall. The illumination of 97,000 bulbs every Sunday evening and during the 10-day Dasara festival (September–October) is one of India's most iconic spectacles.
Chamundi Hills & Sri Chamundeshwari Temple (Approx. 1 hr) : Rising 1,000 metres above the city, Chamundi Hills is the spiritual heart of Mysore. The ancient Chamundeshwari Temple — dedicated to the patron goddess of the Mysore royal family — dates back over 1,000 years. The 1,000-step climb (or a short drive) rewards guests with sweeping panoramic views over the entire city. En route, a massive 5-metre monolithic Nandi bull carved from a single rock circa 1659 is a remarkable sight.
Evening Attraction:
Brindavan Gardens (Approx. 1.5 hrs, entry fee applicable) : Located next to the Krishnarajasagara (KRS) Dam, 12 km from Mysore, these terraced gardens laid out between 1927 and 1932 are best experienced after 6:30 PM when the illuminated musical fountain show begins. The interplay of coloured lights on the cascading water against the garden backdrop is one of South India's most celebrated evening attractions.

📌 Client Note: Mysore Palace is closed to visitors during special royal events and ceremonies. Visiting on a Sunday evening (illumination from 7:00–7:45 PM) is highly recommended — no extra charge for the light show as it is visible from outside the gates. Brindavan Gardens musical fountain show timings: 6:30 PM onwards (seasonal; confirm locally). For the Dasara festival (September–October), advance hotel booking in Mysore is essential as accommodation fills up months in advance.

The company may guide on documentation but is not responsible for denial of boarding, visa refusal, or any service denial due to incomplete or incorrect documents.
Itinerary & Services
The sequence or timing of sightseeing, transfers, or activities may be changed due to weather, traffic, operational, or safety reasons.
If a service, attraction, or activity is unavailable, the company may provide a similar alternative of comparable value where possible.
Accommodation
Hotel bookings are subject to availability. If the selected hotel is not available, an alternate hotel of a similar category will be arranged.
Check-in and check-out times are as per hotel policy and may vary by destination.
Transportation
Vehicles (usually air-conditioned, where available) will be provided according to the itinerary and group size.
